About Cindy
Cindy Moon is a Chicago based costume designer, originally hailing from the Appalachian mountains of southwest Virginia.
Her background in fiber arts, textile design, and experimental fashion provide a unique formula for her storytelling through costume. There is a deep respect for color, texture, pattern, shape, and fiber to bring the most effective storytelling to the stage.
Cindy Moon holds an MFA in Costume Design & Technology from Virginia Tech. She also holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Fiber Arts, concentrating in experimental fashion and textile design.
